Chapter 1

A rustle in the trees and quiet voices broke through the quiet forest. Another mission almost complete for Team 672.

“Are they getting any closer yet?”

“You mean the bad guys?”

“Yeah, so are they?”

“I’m not sure, what do you think?”

“Any time now, my students.”

“Ramune-Sensei always knows everything it seems.”

He chuckled lightly at that with a smile on his face.

“Watch out now, I think they’re here.” He said and disappeared.

The three students turned their heads and saw the robbers walking on the small dirt path, laughing while they held their huge sacks of stolen items on their shoulders.

“I can’t even believe how easy that was!” one joked.

“Yeah! They didn’t even seem to care that we took all this.” The other said.

They weren’t even paying attention to where they stepped… before it was too late that is. A hidden fish net appeared from the patch of lose dirt on the forest floor and snatched up the two men, making them drop their loot.

“Hey, what’s going on here?!” one yelled.

“You just get caught, that’s what.”

“Not so tough now are you, huh?”

“What a waste of time you are.”

Ramune-Sensei appeared on the ground and waited for one of his students to cut down the men so he would be able to tie the lines into complicated knots so they wouldn’t escape.

“Ky did you bring a knife?”

“Nope, not this time.”

“Suna?”

“Yeah, hang on.”

The girl named Suna pulled out her knife and handed it to her sister.

“Thanks.”

“Just give it back to me when you’re done with it Yuki.” She said.

“Yeah, yeah.”

The girl named Yuki cut the men down and they landed with a loud thump, moaning from the pain and impact.

“Good work girls, you can come back down now.”

The three girls appeared on the ground next to their Sensei.

“Thanks Sensei.” They said together.

“Go back to the Leaf Village to report to the Hokage at once. I’ll wait for the Ambu to get here to take these men away.” He told them.

“Right!” they said at the same time and ran off back towards the Leaf Village.

Once they got there it was nearly sunset, people were getting ready to go home or open up late night bars and food shops.

“Can I have my knife back already?” Suna asked.

“Yeah, here you go.” Yuki said as she gave the knife back to her sister.

“Come on, we gotta get to the Hokage’s Office before it gets too late. Sensei is already there most likely and I want to go home.” Ky said to them.

“Alright, alright.”

They walked over to the 3rd Hokage’s Office and sure enough, their Sensei was already there inside and speaking to the Hokage. The two men looked over and smiled at the three girls.

“Ah, there you guys are. Took you long enough to get here.” Ramune-Sensei said cheerfully.

“Sorry, Yuki had to give something of Suna’s back to her.” Ky said and bowed slightly.

“Sorry Sensei…” the two other sisters said and bowed slightly too.

“Ah, there’s no harm done with that. We were just merely chatting about the mission you had just completed, good work you three I’m very impressed.” The 3rd Hokage said.

“Thank you so much 3rd Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village.” The sisters said.

The Hokage only laughed with a big smile on his face.

“Such sweet, young ladies you have Ramune. You are certainly most training them very well with you abilities. They will make fine Ninjas and maybe even Ambu some day. Oh, I wish I was able to live that long to see that happening.” He chuckled, his eyes filled with excitement.

“Thank you very much, I’m sure they will be able to accomplish much in your life time.” Ramune-Sensei said.

“Can we go home now, Ramune-Sensei?” Suna asked him.

“Yeah, can we?”

“Just wait a bit longer girls, we need to talk to you about something... else as a matter of face.” He said, barely loud enough for them to hear.

“Huh?”

“What do you mean by ‘something else’?”

The sisters all looked over at each other, Yuki and Suna was confused about the situation but Ky didn’t seem so fazed by it.

“If it’s what I’m thinking of then I can see how important it is to discuss it with my other sisters to see what they think about entering them.” She ended up saying to the two men.

“Yes… I suppose it is to be discussed with them as well and you are right, it is what you’re thinking of.” Ramune-Sensei replied slowly.

“Can you just tell us what in the world is going on?” Suna whined.

“Alright, alright. Everyone calm down and I’ll tell you.” Hokage said.

Ky sighed and leaned against the wall while her sisters waited and listened for what was going to be told to them.

“You guys have heard of the Chunin Exams?” Ramune-Sensei asked.

“Oh, do you mean the Exam all ninjas have to take in order to pass to keep on training?” Yuki asked in a reply.

“Yes, that’s correct.” He said. “Do you know what happens if you fail the Exam…?”

“No…” Suna mumbled.

“Neither do I.”

“Kyorgra…?”

“If you fail to pass the Exam, you must go back to training school for a month or so and start all missions over again, and then try the Exam again.” She said slowly.

“It’s a very high stake, I know. But you three can do it, I have faith. Make the Village under the Stars proud of you.” The 3rd Hokage said to them.

“You guys don’t have to take it though, if you don’t want to that is. You could try again next year when you might be ready enough then.” Their Sensei said.

“I will do whatever my sisters think is best.” Ky said to them.

She looked over to her sisters and smiled.

“If you would… could we think about it for a while?”

“When do the Exams start anyway?”

“In a week from tomorrow, and that’s fine. I will expect a yes or no within a few days.” Hokage replied.

“Well, you heard him girls, you have a few days to think this over. I won’t be mad at whatever you agree on. You three are dismissed to your Village.” Ramune-Sensei told them.

“Right.” They all three said at the same time and walked out the doors.

Ramune looked back over to the Hokage and sighed heavily.

“You do know what they are… right?” he asked softly.

The Hokage nodded his head.

“I do, but I don’t see any harm in them or within themselves for that matter. They are of a different Breed of them.”

“No one must know about them…”

“Agree…”

The three sisters soon returned home to their Village, another mission complete but a big situation on their shoulders.

“Take your time on deciding if we should enter or not, I’m in no rush.” Ky said to them as she was washing the dishes from dinner.

“I know, it’s just so much to take in. But what if we lose?” Suna grumbled.

“We do have an advantage though…” Yuki stated.

“True…”

The three of them looked at their strange, different Symbols on their hands, which would later on grow up their arms and around the neck forming a strange trail of Markings lacing together to form a design on their chests as if it was a necklace like tattoo. Yuki’s main Symbol on her hand was a Wolf like shape, Suna’s was a Fox like shape with six little points around the head, and Ky’s was a Dragon like shape.

They all three sighed at the same time and laughed a bit.

“Just think about it, I know we would pass though.”

“Yeah, I think so too.”

“I think we can do it.”

Chapter 2

The next day the girls were walking through the forest that was connected to the Hidden Leaf Village to start another day of missions. While they walked, an uneasy feeling seemed to thicken the air, as if something was watching them.

“Don’t you feel it?” Suna asked softly.

“You mean the weird feeling?” Ky said.

“Yeah, I feel it too.” Yuki mumbled.

They looked around them as the stopped in the middle of the path. The forest was dead quiet, none of the animals moved or even made a sound.

“Never knew something could scare the animals so bad…”

“It’s strange…”

Just then, the bushes rustled beside them and they automatically jumped back as three people stepped out from them. They were from a different Village, the Sand Village. Two boys and a girl.

“Hey, looks like we got some company from the Leaf Village.” The one in the full black suit said.

“Interesting, wonder what could they be doing out here.” The girl said.

The other male didn’t say anything, just only stared with his baby blue eyes at Ky. She shivered slightly at his gaze.

“Just who are you anyway?” Yuki asked darkly.

“If you guys are entering the Chunin Exams you could find out, but if not you’ll never know.” The male who spoke earlier said.

“Yuki, Suna, we have things that need to be done. Let’s go.” Ky said slowly.

“Right…” they said and walked off with their sister.

The three strangers watched them go off with smirks on their faces, beside the one boy.

“Seem scared of us, didn’t they?”

“They’re strong though… I can sense it…”

“One was Suna and the other Yuki… the other girl didn’t say her name at all, makes me wonder why.”

“I would like to find out…” the boy finally said.

The three girls finally made it to the Leaf Village where their Sensei was waiting for them to show up.

“Ah, there are my girls. You’re pretty early, what the rush?” Ramune-Sensei said cheerfully.

“Oh, uhhh… we just didn’t want to be late is all.” Suna laughed a bit uneasily.

“Y-Yeah.”

“Oh, well alright then. I know you three were expecting missions and all, but how about a break today?” he asked.

“Wow! Really?” they said at the same time on accident, which made them all laugh.

“Yeah, I’ll buy lunch and maybe even dinner for you guys. You guys can finally hang out with your friends and have some fun for once.”

“Oh, thank you Sensei!” Suna said.

“We could use a break.” Yuki stated.

“Thanks a lot, Ramune-Sensei.” Ky said with a smile.

“Aww, girls.” He chuckled lightly.

Suddenly, Naruto and Kiba came running down the ally and past them.

“Kiba, give me that back!” Naruto yelled at him.

“Make me Fox Boy!” Kiba laughed and ran faster.

“Hey! Kiba, leave him alone!” Suna said and went after him.

“Kiba stop stealing things for once!” Yuki said and followed Suna.

Ky laughed at her sisters and watched with a sad smile. Ramune noticed and messed with her hair.

“Cheer up, you’ll find someone.” He said to her.

“Do you mean as a boyfriend?”

“Yeah.”

“Ha ha!” she laughed at that. “Ha ha! That’s never going to happen. And they’re not even dating, they’re just friends.”

“Ah, but you would be surprised. Even best friends can be turned into lovers, same with enemies.” He said seriously.

“Not to me it won’t.”

“We’ll see about that…”

“Well, I guess I’ll go look around for a while before lunch time.”

“You know where to meet me up right?”

“Yeah, yeah. See ya later.” Ky said as she walked away.

Ky looked around at different little shops while she waited for time to tick by or her sisters to magically appear at her side. While she was looking around, she noticed some sort of future seeker shop hidden among the others.

“Huh… wonder what’s in there.” She mumbled to herself as she went to go check it out.

Inside, the little shop was surrounded with strange objects from different lands that were surprisingly cool and exotic. She walked inside and looked to see if anyone was inside it.

“H-hello? Anyone in here?” she asked.

An old lady walked out from behind the curtain with a welcoming smile on her wrinkled face.

“Ah, welcome my child!” she said in an aged voice.

“Umm, hi.” Ky said slowly.

“Do you seek to know what lies behind closed doors?” the old lady asked.

"You mean like the future, my future?”

“Yes, yes my dear. Come sit with me to see what lies and waits for you.” She beckoned her over.

“Oh, uhhh alright.” She said uncertain an walked over to sit next to the old lady.

The old lady took Ky’s right hand in hers and gasped. The girl tensed up as she thought she saw the Mark on her hand, but was wrong.

“I see a long, hard fought out battle. No, wait, I see two of them.”

“Two battles?”

“The second one much, much harder than the first.”

“Not good…” she mumbled softly to herself.

“Wait… I also see something else… A new friend? No, no. A lover…?”

That part struck her deep. She couldn’t think or even say anything she was so shocked.

“I’m not sure which one it is, but you seem to be happy. You loved him for some strange reason. But, I also see sadness and loneliness as well. Someone special ends up leaving you… Poor thing…”

“W-who?” Ky stuttered as she wanted to know who it could be.

“A boy… a cold hearted boy with a lost soul and mind, but you change all that it seems. He leaves you with the words ‘I’ll be back soon, I’m not sure when but really soon. I’ll come back for you, my l-love…’ That’s all I can see for the moment…” the old lady finished.

Ky didn’t say anything, she was in complete shock. A-a lover? How can that be? It’s impossible… she thought to herself. She shook her head and looked up at the old lady.

“I know it must be a lot to take in. You’ll have many struggles from what I can see, but it comes with good outcomes.” She smiled lightly.

“T-the boy? What did he look like?” she just had to know this.

“The boy…? Hm… I couldn’t get a good image of him, something was blocking most of the view. But, he has baby blue eyes from what I can see and… he’s just like you in a way…” was all she spoke of.

“Well… okay then. Thanks a lot.”

“No problem dear, come again anytime you like.” The old lady smiled at her and nodded her head.

“I’m sure I will…” Ky tried to smile back at her as she left.

She slowly relaxed as she was back outside again and the sun felt good on her suddenly cold skin.

“Hm… I wonder what time it is?” she mumbled to herself.

“Kyorgra-Chan!” a voice said close by.

“Huh?”

She turned around to see a boy running towards her in a green jumpsuit.

“Ky-chan, Ky-chan!” he said with a big smile on his face and tackled her.

They fell to the ground together and laughed.

“Lee…? Is that you?” she asked him.

“Yup, it’s me alright! Be a really long time.” He said.

“Uhhh, yeah it really has been a while.”

“Where are you going to next?” he asked.

‘Where? Well I… Uh oh… Ramune-Sensei!” she gasped as she got up.

“What about your Sensei?”

“I was supposed to meet him up for lunch! Oh, he’s gonna kill me!”

“Don’t worry, I know where he’s at. And if he already got lunch for the rest of your team, I can buy you lunch.” He said, trying to calm her down.

“That’s really nice of you Lee, but I don’t want you to do that for me.” She said.

“No, no. Not a big deal, now come on.” He said and grabbed her hand, dragging her with him.

“L-Lee, stop!” she said.

After about five minutes or so they appeared by the Ramen shop where everyone else was already eating.

“Ah, there you are Kyorgra. Sorry, I sort of already bought lunch…” Ramune said sadly.

“Oh… Well, don’t worry about it. I’ll go hungry until dinner…” she said a bit disappointed.

“Silly Ky-chan, remember I said I would buy you lunch.” Lee said simply.

“Lee, you really don’t have too…”

“I know that, but I want to though. My treat I promise.” He said with a smile.

“Okay then…” she mumbled lightly.

“Now sit down and tell me what you want, pick anything from the menu.”

“I’ll just have the chicken ramen is all.” She told him.

“You sure?”

“Yeah, I am.”

“Alright then, one chicken ramen coming right up.” He said and laughed.

Ky smiled a little at him and rolled her eyes.

“Thanks Lee…”

Lee blushed a little and looked away from her.

“Y-Your welcome, Kyorgra-chan.” He said.

Chapter 3

After about an hour or so, everyone had eaten their lunch and was back to playing with friends. Suna, Yuki, Kiba, and Naruto were all playing a game of tag while Ky and lee watched from a near by tree with Akamaru curled up in her lap fast asleep.

“Why aren’t you playing with them?” Lee asked her as he watched everyone chase each other.

“I just got a lot on my mind and plus I really don’t wanna throw up the lunch you bought me, if that happened I’d be mad at myself.” She joked and laughed a bit.

“Oh, alright then. What kind of things on your mind?”

“Well… Hokage and Ramune-Sensei wants use to enter the Chunin Exams-“

“Wow! Really? You guys should do that, even though I’ve never really seen you guys train but I think you would so kick everyone’s butt after hearing all the things you guys do on missions.”

“Yeah, I know, but it’s up to my sisters to decide. I’ll go with whatever they want to do.”

“Really? You guys must be really close to be able to do that. You’re lucky you have siblings.”

“You never know, your parents could still have a child if they wanted to. But siblings can be a bit of a pain though, just a warning to you.”

“Ha ha, very funny Ky-chan.” He mocked her.

“Anyway, I already think I know what we’re going to do…”

“Really? Will you tell me.”

“Nope sorry, it’s a secret.” She said with a smile and winked at him.

Lee blushed at that and looked away from her.

“Kyorgra-chan is so mean…” he pouted.

“Oh, Lee stop being such a downer. Be happy like you usually are wither I’m here or not.” She said and gave him a hug.

“K-Ky-chan…” he mumbled and blushed even more as he returned the hug.

Akamaru barked at them and tugged onto her sandals.

“Hey boy, that’s not nice. Kiba control your pup for once!”

“Sorry!” he said and laughed.

Akamaru smiled and ran after his owner.

“H-hey! Akamaru stop that! Bad boy!”

Everyone laughed as they watched the small dog attack his owner with licks to his face as Kiba fell to the ground.

It was close to sunset when everyone showed up to eat dinner with their Sensei. It was sort of like a party cause everyone was entering the Exam, besides the fact that the sisters still needed to make up their minds.

They went over to their Sensei and whispered so no one would be able to hear them.

“So, have you made you your mind about entering?” asked Ramune.

“Yeah, I believe so.” Ky said.

“I want to enter them.” Suna said with excitement.

“So do I.” Yuki agreed.

“Then, it’s agreeable. We’ll do it.”

“Ah, that’s my girls! I’ll go ahead and tell Hokage about this and get you all signed up for the Exam.” Ramune said and smiled.

“Keep it a secret from everyone though, we want it to be a surprise.”

“You got yourself a deal. Now go off and play with your friends while there is still daylight out.”

“Right!”

Yuki and Suna started running off but stopped when Ky wasn’t following them.

“Ky..?”

“Anyone in there? Hello?”

“Huh? Oh, sorry. I was just thinking about something is all…” she said after a bit.

“Oh, do you wanna go home?”

“But remember? Nami-chan invited us to spend the night at her place.”

“Oh yeah… But-“

“No, no. It’s fine. Someone’s gotta watch the house. You go on ahead and stay at her house tonight. It’s not a problem.” Ky said with a smile.

“She’s right.” Yuki agreed.

“Okay… be careful Ky on your way back.” Suna said.

“I will, see ya tomorrow.”

“Aww, is Kyorgra-chan leaving?” Lee sounded upset.

“I’ll be back tomorrow, I promise Lee.” She said.

“Alright then… Bye Ky-chan!”

“Bye Lee, tell everyone else I said bye too for me.”

“We will.” Her sisters said.

Ky turned her back on them and took off running for home.

After a while, she was walking on the same path that they had met up with the three ninjas from the Sand Village that same day early in the morning. She shivered from the memory and looked around.

“Who were they…” she mumbled to herself as she walked deeper into the no dark forest.

A rustle in the bushes startled her and she ended up tripping over a tree root, falling back and hitting the ground hard. A ninja from the Sound Village appeared with a rather large knife and held it to her throat.

“Well, well… what do we have here? A young lady on her way back home, what a catch. You’ll do nice for me…” he said darkly.

It was either an assassin or just a punk who was waiting for his next rape victim… or even both.

“W-what do you want…” she whispered.

“Just… a little fun.” He laughed darkly.

Just then, a rush of sand knocked the Sound ninja off of her and into a tree. She crawled away and hid behind a rock.

“What a waste of a soul…” a voice said with no emotion in it what so ever.

“L-let me go!”

“I’m afraid not…”

A loud scream filled the air as well as a bone crushing grip seem to come straight from the Sound ninja.

After a while, everything was quiet again.

“You can come out now…” the voice said in the quiet night.

Ky slowly came out from behind the rock and notice it was the boy from the trio she had seen earlier that didn’t say a word. The one with baby blue eyes…

“Hey… your that girl from earlier.” He said slowly.

“Y-yeah, I recognize you too.” She told him.

“You never did say your name either…”

“So…?”

“I was quite… curious to know, actually.” He admitted.

“I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”

“Hm… deal then.”

“Kyorgra… I usually go by Ky though…” she told him slowly and uncertain.

“Kyorgra… a very unusual name. Gaara is mine…” he said.

“Gaara… thank you for saving me back there…” she said with a slight bow.

“No need to, your senses are too weak to tell if someone was even there. You should work on that some if you plan on entering the Chunin Exams.” He said bitterly.

She flinched at his words and took a few steps back.

“I guess so… Well, I’ll be on my way then.”

Gaara’s hand grabbed a hold of her arm, which startled her greatly since his skin was cold to the touch.

“Where are you going to?”

“Home…”

“So, you don’t live in the Leaf Village but you train there? How is that?” he sounded curious to know… too curious.

“Yeah, that’s right. I do live in a different Village, but not part of the main Villages though. But the Leaf and my Village are allies so me and my sisters are able to train there.” She said slowly.

“Hm… interesting.”

“Um, can you let go of my arm please?”

He blinked and let go of her arm quickly, as if he didn’t even notice that he had done so in the first place.

“Thanks…”

“You should go home…”

“Y-yeah, I should…”

“See ya around then.” He said and disappeared into the forest.

Ky watched for a bit and took off running for home.

“This is weird… All so too weird and familiar at the same time.” She said to herself.

Chapter 4

Once she got home she locked all the windows and the front and back doors. She didn’t want to take any chances of getting killed tonight. Every little sound would freak her out tonight as she went to sleep and she knew it too.

“Gaara… why does that ring a bell to me.” She asked her self as she stared at the ceiling of her room.

She laid there, just trying to think of what could have made her think all of this. She eventually gave up and feel into a strange deep sleep.

As Ky slept her inner Demon awoken and tampered into her mind. They could communicate through dreams mostly, but at times through the mind.

“Kyorgra…”

“K-Kaida..? What do you need?”

“That man you met today, who saved you… he gives off bad vibes.” Her Demon said.

“What do you mean?”

“Something’s just off about him… I just want you to be careful.”

“I will.”

“Get some sleep, I’ll be busy making sure that your chakra flows are in perfect condition and are flowing correctly.”

“As you wish…”

Soon after the short talk, Ky fell into a deeper sleep.

She awoke the next morning pretty early and packed her back with clothes and other things she needed so she could stay in the Leaf Village to train for the Exam. She did the same thing with her sisters’ bags. She was capable of carrying all of this, thanks to her Demon. She slipped out of the house and locked the door behind her.

“Alright then… to the Leaf Village.” She said to herself and took off running.

Ky got there around noon and her sisters were the first one to greet her with tackle hugs.

“Ky you’re back!” Suna said while hugging her.

“Please Suna, let go of me.” She said and laughed a bit.

Her sister let go of her and took her bag off her shoulder. Yuki took her bag off and slung it around her shoulders.

“Where is everyone?”

“They’re training I think…”

“So we’ll be alone for a while until they’re done.”

“Ah , I see.” Ky sounded relived.

Her sisters laughed at her.

“A break from Lee sounds good, don’t it?” Yuki joked.

“Yeah it is, I mean, don’t get me wrong and all, he’s a good friend but just having him follow you around like a lost puppy kinda freaks me out a little bit.” Ky admitted.

“Yeah, I don’t blame you for feeling that way.” Suna agreed.

They all laughed at that when Ramune-Sensei walked over to them.

“Ah, there’s the whole gang. The Hokage wants to see you three in his office.” He told them.

“Oh, really?”

“Might as well go see what he wants then.”

“Yup.”

They all walked over to the 3rd Hokage’s office to see what he needed.

One they got there, the sisters set their bags by the back wall and bowed slightly.

“Ah, there’s my favorite bunch of girls. Welcome! I’m very pleased to hear that you’re entering the Exams.” He said with a big smile on his face.

“Thanks for having us here, Hokage.” Ky said and the girls returned the smile.

“As you know, the Exam will be next week so I need you to train, but not enough to wipe you guys out and have no energy for the Exam.”

“Don’t worry Hokage, I already have it planed out of what they need to do.” Ramune-Sensei told him firmly.

“Good, I trust you Ramune. Yuki, and Suna, I need you to go on ahead and get a room in this building for you three to use while you stay here. I kind of need to speak to Kyorgra alone for a second.” The Hokage said calmly.

“Uhh, yeah sure.” Suna said with a confused look on her face.

“See ya later Ky.” Yuki said and grabbed her sister’s bag as well as her own.

“Alright then.”

They watched the two other sisters leave the office and waited a few minutes, just in case they were listening.

“Now then, Kyorgra, did something happen on your way back home last night?” the Hokage asked while Ramune listened.

“H-how did you know?!” she was shocked that he knew.

“We just had a report come in last night, late. What happened?”

“I was attacked by a Sound ninja… He held a knife up to my throat one second and then he was pined to a tree the next.” She told him slowly.

Ramune seemed to tense up at the sound of this and closed his eyes.

“Oh my… I’m sorry I didn’t have an Ambu to take you back home to make sure you got there safely. I’m just glad you’re okay.”

“Yeah, don’t worry. I’m just happy that someone came to save me just in time.”

“Who was it that save you?” her Sensei asked coldly.

She froze at his tone and shivered slightly as she went cold. She wondered if she should give out his name or not. Gaara… She shook her head and cleared her throat.

“H-he didn’t state his name, I just only got a glimpse of him is all. I think he was from the Sand Village maybe.” She half lied and half told the truth.

“Hmm…”

“Well, it doesn’t matter. Just as long as you’re safe. I want you to stay in this Village, don’t go outside of it at all. We don’t want this to happen again.”

“Right!”

“You are free to go now, Kyorgra-chan.” The Hokage said.

“Thank you.” Ky bowed and left the room quickly.

There was silence between Ramune and the 3rd Hokage.

“From your old Village, eh? What are you up to Ramune..?”

“I didn’t do it…” he growled.

“Yeah, likely story, my friend…”
